Field Trip Activities
The field trip in October is organized in a loose format of three activities:
Talking with me, the farmer, about important things on the farm, with hands-on show and tell.
- Either a tour of the animals and animal education - our animals are not in a "petting zoo", but in their own barns, coops and/or pastures.
They will be allowed to pet them, (or not, depending on your wishes), and they will learn their functions on farms.
OR, they can help us make apple cider.
- We will ride a wagon out to the pumpkin patch and they may pick a pumpkin, the size of their head, to take home.
Fees and other details
The fee for our tour is $8 per child, including siblings, no charge for helpful adults. Minimum $80.00.
The tour is approximately 1 hour and we do very few tours per day, thus allowing you to relax and not feel rushed. Your group will also have the time and flexibility
to stay and revisit places on the farm or picnic before or after your tour, depending on your own schedule. Please be ready to start the tour at the scheduled time.
If you are late, we will shorten the tour
